Police bust Orange City store selling synthetic marijuana


ORANGE CITY, Fla. - Police said they seized hundreds of packets of synthetic marijuana that were being sold at a store in Orange City on Wednesday.

Officers executed a search warrant at Lil Sammy's store on S. Volusia Avenue in Orange City on Wednesday. Nearly 400 packets of the fake pot were found in the store and police said the packets have a street value of roughly $12,000.

The store has been under investigation for several months for selling the synthetic marijuana, according to officials.

At least three people are facing possible felony charges related to the investigation. Police said the case has been forwarded to the State Attorney's Office for review.
