Tracy Adams had to be flown to Orlando Regional Medical Center to be treated for burns on her face and her arms, Graham said.

Police said Adams, a mother of six, ran into a home and shouted that someone had tried to kill her.

Investigators said they believe a 49-year-old suspect, whose identity hasn't been released, doused Adams and her car with a flammable substance before igniting it. No one has been arrested.

"Investigations, they do take some time and it is a process and that's what we are doing," Graham said. "We are going through the process right now and we are committed to getting justice for Tracy. That's our No. 1 priority right now."

The fire remains under investigation.
