Police identify suspects in elderly purse snatching in Lady Lake

LADY LAKE, Fla. — Police in Lady Lake said they have identified the suspects responsible for a purse snatching in January.

The elderly victim's purse was taken in a shopping center parking lot on January 9, causing her to fall to the ground and suffer serious injuries.

Since the incident, police said they've been following leads, hoping to identify the suspects.

Latoyia Inmon, 28, was arrested Sunday; detectives said Inmon was the getaway driver in the January purse snatching. The accused purse snatcher is 17-year-old Deaundre Green, police said. Officers are awaiting a warrant for Green's arrest.

The purse snatching victim survived the incident but had to undergo long-term rehabilitation.
