Police: Man broke into Lady Lake apartment, stole dishwasher

LADY LAKE, Fla. — A man was arrested after police said he broke into a Lady Lake apartment and stole a dishwasher.

The burglary happened at the Rolling Acres apartment complex between the hours of 3 a.m. and 8 a.m., and police said several other units were damaged after water was left running from the broken pipes.

Police said Kevin Michael O’Connor, 31, confessed to the burglary and was arrested after being brought in for questioning. He is being held on an $8,000 bail at the Lake County Jail.

Witnesses reported seeing two other people who were involved in the burglary, but their identities are being withheld, police said.

Authorities said a witness was able to photograph the dishwasher in the bed of a pickup truck parked at O’Connor’s home.
