Police: Man shoots brother in the chest during argument in St. Cloud home

ST. CLOUD, Fla. — A man shot and killed his brother inside a home in St. Cloud Friday, police said.

Two medical examiner vans were at the scene on 6th Street near Virginia Avenue.

Police said Benjamin Middendorf, 25, shot his brother in the chest during an argument.

Nicholas Middendorf, 28, was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

Benjamin Middendorf was arrested and charged with first-degree premeditated murder and was booked into the Osceola County Jail without bail.

Residents said they’re shocked that at shooting happened in their neighborhood.
