ORLANDO, Fla. - Orlando police are investigating after the remains of a man were found in a wooded area along Millenia Boulevard on Tuesday.
Investigators said a survey crew found the remains while working in the woods on Monday.
WFTV received several calls from residents at the nearby Northbridge Apartments reporting crime scene units had been in the area since 5:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Residents also told WFTV that Tuesday was the second day law enforcement had been at the scene, focusing on a wooded area across the street from the entrance to the complex.
Police said no foul play is expected.
Before police confirmed the remains were that of a man, WFTV spoke with the mother of missing woman 34-year-old Michelle Parker, who said she was called by officials. However, officers confirmed that the search was not related to the Parker case.
