Noise complaint leads police to marijuana grow operation

ST. CLOUD, Fla. — St. Cloud police said two men were arrested after a noise complaint led officers to a marijuana grow operation inside an apartment Saturday night.

Officers were called to the apartment on Sawyer Circle just after 11 p.m. because of a noise complaint, officials said.

According to investigators, the responding officer smelled marijuana coming from the apartment and spotted some on a table.

Investigators said they searched the home and found between 10 and 15 marijuana plants growing in a closet.

Two men who police said live in the apartment were arrested and are facing felony charges. One of the suspects was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer for allegedly shoving an officer.
