Police: Kohl's store in Port Orange robbed at gunpoint

PORT ORANGE, Fla. — Port Orange police are searching for two men who robbed a Kohl's department store Saturday evening.

The armed robbery happened shortly before 8 p.m. at the Kohl's on Taylor Road.

According to police, the suspects walked around the store talking on their cell phones before the robbery. Investigators said one of the men approached the manager, pointed a gun at her and calmly told her they were robbing the store.

The men got away with an unknown amount of cash. Police said the manager was forced to walk in front of one of the suspects as they exited the store.

No one was injured during the incident, officials said.

Investigators said one suspect is described as a black male in his 20's with short black hair. He is between 5'4" and 5'5", has a thin build and no facial hair. The other suspect is also a black male in his 20's with a thin build.
