Police: St. Cloud man raped woman 30 times

ST. CLOUD, Fla. — A St. Cloud man was arrested on multiple counts of sexual battery after he raped a woman approximately 30 times throughout her life, according to investigators.

Police said the investigation into David Rodriguez-Rodriguez began earlier this week when the victim told officers she had been raped.

Rodriguez-Rodriguez knows the victim and the incidents were said to have happened in several locations.

Detectives brought him in for questioning, and said he cooperated with the investigation and admitted to them that he sexually battered the victim.

He was charged with 30 counts of sexual battery. Detectives seized all of his electronic equipment, which they said may contain more evidence of the crime.

He was booked into the Osceola County Jail, where he is being held without bond.
