PALM BAY, Fla. — Police and SWAT members took a man who was barricaded in his Palm Bay home into custody Monday morning.

According to Palm Bay Police, Emmanuel Lopez, 30, was barricaded in the home on Medea Avenue NW for nearly four hours.

Police said crisis negotiators talked to Lopez in an attempt to get him to surrender.

The Brevard County Sheriff's Office sent a robot to the house and a short time later Lopez surrendered, according to police.
