Police: Two arrested while using credit cards stolen along International Drive

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. - Two people were arrested and accused of stealing credit cards from cars along International Drive, Orange County deputies said on Tuesday.

According to investigators, when Sherika Rowe and Lorenzo Brown tried to check out at a Sports Authority store on Sand Lake Road, the credit card they were trying to use wouldn't work.

Investigators said Rowe tried another one, and then a third one before she became so frustrated she dumped a pile of credit cards on the counter.

Deputies were notified and were able to stop Rowe and Brown before they could leave.

"I think they should have been a little bit smarter about how they are spending these credit cards instead of just dumping them all out on the table in front of them," said Adam Pascual, a Sports Authority customer.

Investigators said that while a deputy was talking to Rowe, a credit card fell out of her jacket. The deputy picked the card up and found someone else's name on it.

The two were arrested.

Deputies believe two more suspects got away before the clerk was tipped off.

Deputies said a man used a stolen card to buy hundreds of dollars worth of shoes

"At least they should have hit different spots, but even still, they shouldn't be doing it," said Pascual.
