Police: Woman's bright headlights spark Port Orange road rage shooting

Port Orange police said bright headlights sparked a road rage shooting Saturday night wherein a bullet narrowly missed striking a 20-year-old woman.
Police said the shot was fired on Clyde Morris and Taylor roads.
The woman told police the driver was mad because her headlights were shining into a truck.
She said her headlights sometimes flash into other cars because of how high her truck is.
The victim said the suspect got out of his truck and yelled at her about her headlights.
When the light they were waiting at turned green, she said the driver followed her to an intersection and when she turned down the street, she heard a loud pop and her back window shattered.
She called 911 when she got to her friend’s house.
A report said police found what appeared to be a bullet hole in the roof of the pickup truck and that a “projectile was removed.”
The woman believes another person was in the vehicle.
