KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - In audio tapes released to various media outlets from the 911 call of Polk County triple-murder suspect David Smith to a Tennessee dispatcher, Smith said the world was under evil control.

Smith called 911 from a Tennessee motel room on May 27. He said he was wanted for murder in Polk County and admitted killing his sister and two others. He also said he had a .40-caliber rifle and was ready to die. He said his blood would cleanse the world or start World War III.
