OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. - A new center to help Puerto Ricans transition into the community opened in Osceola County, but some people weren't happy about it.
The governor of Puerto Rico was on hand for a ribbon-cutting for the new Puerto Rico Federal Affairs Administration Office in Kissimmee.
Protestors said the office is a waste of taxpayer dollars because they can get the same services elsewhere.
"We are U.S. citizens and being here in Orlando we have the same availability that every U.S. citizens over here has," said one protestor.
A Puerto Rico Federal Affairs Administration Office used to be in central Florida but it closed in 2009.
