NORTH PORT, Fla. — A woman in North Port, Florida, said a rabid bobcat attacked her dog and got into her home.
Homeowner Karen Morse said the bobcat raced inside on Thursday as she was about to go on a walk with her grandson and his dog.
"Well, it happened so fast that at first I did not know it was a bobcat. You know, you kind of feel, like, shell-shocked," Morse said.
The bobcat left the dog with five puncture wounds.
Morse said her dog and her family are getting rabies shots.
