Rail car leaks propane outside gas facility

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A rail car was leaking propane outside a gas facility in Orange County Thursday, according to fire rescue.

Firefighters said they were able to quickly secure the valve and stop the leak outside the facility on Orange Avenue.

The northbound and southbound lanes of Orange Avenue in Belle Isle, approaching Sand Lake Road were closed due to the leak, but have since reopened, according to WFTV traffic reporter Racquel Asa.

No one was injured.
