Report: Man calls 911 to make bomb threats, vomits in back of cruiser after arrest

A homeless Lake County man called 911 to say that he was going plant bombs or explosive devices at various locations in Washington, D.C., including the Pentagon, according to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said Ryan Lannert, 31, also threatened to harm law enforcement officers.
Deputies said they ordered a ping for the cellphone that was used to make the call, which led them to an area in Pine Lakes.
However, deputies did not find the caller.
The Lake County Sheriff’s Office then received another call about a car that had crashed in the yard of a Eustis home on Root Drive.
The homeowner told authorities that a man was lying in her yard near a car.
Deputies said the man, later identified as Lannert, was incoherent. Lannert told deputies that his car was stuck and he was trying to get home.
EMS arrived to check on Lannert, who became uncooperative and combative, deputies said.
Authorities said they tried to get Lannert to comply with their requests, but to no avail.
Lannert insisted that he did not consent to being secured by a deputy and that he was not under arrest, authorities said.
Deputies said they were able to get Lannert into the back of a cruiser, where Lannert gagged and forced himself to vomit. Lannert then spit on a deputy through a small opening in the cage divider, deputies said.
Deputies said they pulled the cruiser over to secure Lannert again, but he was able to free himself and began kicking the ceiling and the windows of the cruiser.
The deputies pulled over again and used a four-point restraint on Lannert.
According to an arrest report, Lannert said he was “going to utilize any means necessary to track down this deputy and family in order to cause great bodily harm.”
Lannert was charged with corrupt threatening of a law enforcement officer, resisting an officer without violence and misuse of 911.
