Resident injured, bound during Casselberry home invasion arrested on drug charges

CASSELBERRY, Fla. — A man who was injured in a home invasion has been arrested, according to the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said they received a call about a man being held at gunpoint. Deputies said they found a large pool of blood outside the home on Biscayne Court in Casselberry, and decided to go inside.

Investigators said they found Weston Elliot bound and sitting on the couch. Elliot had a deep cut on his head, deputies said.

Authorities said they found large amounts of marijuana, pipes and scales in Elliot’s home.

Elliot was taken to a hospital and will be jailed once he has been medically cleared, deputies said.

Elliot was charged with marijuana possession with intent to sell and drug equipment possession and/or use.

The home invaders have not been found.
