Robbers beat man, barricade selves in Melbourne home

MELBOURNE, Fla. — Three people are in jail after Melbourne police said they robbed, beat and left a man unconscious, and then barricaded themselves inside a home.

The victim was able to tell officers who beat him.

Police said they found the culprits inside a home on Cardinal Court, but they refused to come out.

Hours later, the three people came out of the home and were taken into custody.

Their names were not released.
