Suspect composite sketches released after Orlando women robbed in own driveways

ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando police released composite sketches Thursday of two of three men they said attacked two women in their driveways Monday night.

Investigators said the men are also behind two armed robberies and need the public's help to identify them.

The most recent ambush happened at a home on Shady Lane Drive in College Park.

The victim said the men approached her as she was getting out of her vehicle and threatened to kill her as they forced her to the ground and stole her car.

About 30 minutes earlier, police said they believe the same men robbed a woman as she was getting out of her car outside her Amelia Street home in Lake Eola Heights. Police said they stole her purse and other belongings.

"I can see this happening in other parts of the city, but right here?" asked resident Jason Cornell.

Channel 9 has obtained sketches of two of the suspects. Police hope someone recognizes the men and turns them in.

Both women told authorities the same exact thing: They had gotten home and just pulled in their driveways when the armed men came out of nowhere

"Generally (this) does not happen in this neighborhood at all, so it's why we're shocked about (it) and especially someone who lives next door," resident Julia Eraso said.

Cops said all three robbers are black males in their late teens, or early twenties, ranging in height from 5 foot 5 inches to 5 foot 10 inches tall.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
