ORLANDO, Fla. - Authorities are searching for four men who forced their way into a mother's Orlando apartment by claiming to be police and then robbed the woman and her young son at gunpoint.

The victim said one of the men even flashed a police badge before barging into her apartment at the Villas at Pine Crest on Semoran Boulevard.

The single mother who asked to remain unidentified said when she opened the door, the four men shoved the police badge in her face but then two of them pulled out a gun and began to rob her.

The woman said they pointed the gun at her head and even pointed it at her sleeping son who was home with her.

She said they then went through her apartment and stole her television, phones and all of the money she had been saving.

"How is she supposed to feel when she calls police next time?" said neighbor Charlie Lenzi. "Like, are they going to be real police or are they going to be fake?"

"I would open the door to police, but now I'm not so sure," said neighbor Dawn Reed.

Police said some witnesses who saw the robbery going down never called 911, so they had a late start on the case to begin with.

In the end, the woman and her son were not injured.
