Roy Ramos

Roy joined the Eyewitness News team in 2013 as a general assignment reporter, and will be covering stories that impact the Orlando area and surrounding counties.

Roy began his career a year prior to graduating from St. Thomas University in Miami Gardens, Fla.  It was then he found himself working in the Newsplex of WSVN, a Fox affiliate.  There, he had the opportunity to cover the 2008 hurricane season, as well as experience the excitement of breaking news the City of Miami constantly delivers.

Roy joined the WFTX FOX 4 team in May 2010 as a general assignment reporter for the Naples Bureau.  While at FOX 4, he investigated issues within the Collier County and Fort Myers area.

Roy was born in Miami to a great family he says is his inspiration and driving force.  Outside of work, he enjoys anything that involves fitness and going to the beach.
