Seminole Co. roads closed for SunRail work

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — Work on SunRail will mean some temporary road closures in Seminole County.

SunRail crews were scheduled to close Plumosa Ave. at the railroad crossing near Casselberry Monday morning. The road will remain closed until 7 p.m. December 1.

Crews were also scheduled to close Palmetto Ave. at the railroad crossing in Longwood. That road is scheduled to reopen Tuesday at 7 p.m.

According to the Florida Dept. of Transportation, the road closures will allow crews to rebuild the crossing and upgrade signal equipment.
