BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — A physically impaired person was sexually battered Wednesday at the Titusville Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, police said.
Few details were released about the incident, which investigators said happened sometime between 3 and 7 a.m. Wednesday.
The incident was reported later in the day, police said.
The 157-bed facility on Jess Parrish Court currently has a “conditional license,” the Agency for Healthcare Administration said.
The conditional license was imposed on the facility in March 2015 over a deficiency involving a patient plan of care, the AHCA said.
Titusville Rehabilitation and Nursing Center officials did not immediately respond to questions about the incident.
No information was released by police on any potential suspects.
