Police: Shoeless robber flees on foot

ORLANDO, Fla. — Two men robbed a Circle K at gunpoint early Sunday near Lake Underhill, the Orlando Police Department said.

The men stormed into the convenience store at Lake Underhill and South Conway roads shortly before 4 a.m., Orlando police Sgt. Wanda Miglio said.

One of the men ordered the clerk to the counter and pulled out a gun while he demanded money from the cash register, Miglio said.

Police said the clerk complied with the orders and the men then fled on foot.

The armed man was about 6 feet tall and was dressed in all black, Miglio said.

The other man wore a blue T-shirt over a white long-sleeved shirt, gray sweatpants and socks without shoes. He also wore a black-and-white beanie.

The suspects remain at large.

No one was injured.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Crimeline at 407-423-8477.
