Cops: RaceTrac gas station shooting was drug-related

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. - A shooting at a RaceTrac gas station that left two men injured is believed to be drug-related, according to investigators.

Shots were fired at the RaceTrac at 500 N. Kirkman Road around 7:30 p.m. Monday.

Deputies said the victims showed up at the gas station for a drug deal and the suspect demanded their money. The men were shot when they wouldn't hand over any cash, authorities said.

Investigators have not said how severe the victims' injuries are. They were both rushed to Orlando Regional Medical Center and haven't been identified.

The gunman is described as a black male who is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs around 185 pounds. The man was wearing a large gold chain necklace and had a large tattoo on his right forearm.
