The son of a champion drag racer was involved in a crash at an Orange County race track, according to law enforcement officials.
The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. at the Orlando Speed World Dragway on East Colonial Drive.
A deputy at the scene told Channel 9's Janine Reyes that the driver of the car was Billy Glidden, son of Bob Glidden, former Pro Stock champion drag racer.

Glidden's car hit a wall three times on the track. First responders at the scene had to remove him from the smashed vehicle.
