ORLANDO, Fla. — Florida Power and Light customers will see their power bills go up.
Thursday, state regulators approved a base rate increase for FP&L that will be implemented over four years.
It’s part of a settlement between FP&L and some business customers.
The rate increase was about $150 million less than what the company originally asked for.
Customers will see their rates increase by nearly $10 a month by the end of 2016.
