Clerk fights back against robber, takes gun away

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — A Hillsborough County store clerk, who fought off a would-be robber, said he didn't think twice about his actions.

Jun Wu was working in a mobile mini-mart in Valrico on Thanksgiving Day when an armed man walked into the store and demanded cash, investigators said.

But the robber was no match for Wu, who pushed him and took away his gun, officers said.

"After he robbed me, I'm a little bit scared. But at that time, you don't have time to think about anything, know what I mean? You cannot think anything," Wu said.

Deputies said they still have not caught the robber.
