ORLANDO, Fla. - Investigators are searching for the man who held up a store at gunpoint in the heart of Orlando’s tourist district.

Deputies said surveillance video shows a man in a hooded sweatshirt barging into the Tourist Information Center on International Drive, while pointing a gun at the clerk and demanding money.

A few seconds into the video, the robber seemed to have realized he should pull up the hood of his sweatshirt.

“He was just saying, ‘Give me cash, give me cash’ being very aggressive,” said an employee at the store, who did not want to be identified.

The store was robbed just before 2 p.m. Friday.

The business sells theme park tickets and does currency exchange.

Deputies said the man grabbed a woman’s purse and in the video. The victim held her hands in the air as the man yanked the purse off her shoulder.

“I just seen the guy standing outside my store, mentioned something to my boss why is he wearing a hoodie right now, it’s 90 degrees out,” said Jacqueline Farra, who works next to the business.
