Officials said beachgoers can expect strong rip current conditions throughout the Labor Day weekend and are advised to check with lifeguards before entering the water.
"Labor Day is a great time for family fun at the beach, and we want everyone to have a safe experience," said Public Information Officer Tammy Marris. "Above all, everyone should swim in front of an open lifeguard tower and watch children carefully when they're in the water and on the beach."
The beach ramps at International Speedway Boulevard, Dunlawton Boulevard, Flagler Avenue and 27th Avenue will be very congested, so beachgoers are advised to use ramps that are not close to bridges.
