Suspect accused of killing Seminole Co. man in Maine to plead guilty

JACKSON, Maine — A man accused of murdering a Seminole County firefighter is expected to plead guilty to manslaughter on Tuesday.

Maine's attorney general said Daniel Porter is expected to make his plea at 2:30 p.m.

Porter is accused of shooting and killing 31-year-old Jerry Perdomo in February 2012 while Perdomo was on a trip to Jackson, Maine.

Officials said the two men were arguing over a drug deal, and Porter told them he owed Perdomo $3,000.

He faces a maximum sentence of 30 years.
