Nothing found inside suspicious suitcase in Orlando church

ORLANDO, Fla. — The Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded to a suspicious device found at Oak Ridge Baptist Church Wednesday night.

Oak Ridge Road between John Young Parkway and Millenia Boulevard was shut down while deputies and a bomb squad investigated.

Investigators said a woman walked into the church during a service about 8 p.m., dropped some type of suitcase on the floor, and left the building.

Church leaders were concerned  over the incident so they called deputies.

By 11:30 p.m. deputies discovered the suitcase only had clothes inside.
