Bomb threat prompts evacuation on Curry Ford Road

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A bomb threat prompted evacuations Monday at a utilities building in Orange County.

The building sits on Curry Ford Road near Econlockhatchee Road and was evacuated shortly before 2 p.m. Hazardous materials crews were also called in.

Little information was released, but the Orange County Sheriff's Office said they responded to a call about a possible threat to the building.

Channel 9 was there as crews spent the afternoon looking under each car in the parking lot.

The evacuation was called off shortly before 5 p.m. after nothing was found.
