PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. - A taxi driver is accused in the sexual battery of two spring breakers in Panama City Beach.
The Bay County Sheriff's Office say 22-year-old Edgar Eduardo Lopez-Jaramillo was arrested Tuesday and is awaiting a bond hearing. Panama City Beach police also arrested the West Palm Beach man on similar charges.
Deputies say Lopez-Jaramillo he picked up a woman early Monday and drove in the opposite direction of her destination. She jumped out of the taxi at an intersection but he ran after her and forced her back inside. He groped her but let her go when he thought he saw a police car.
The News Herald of Panama City reports Lopez-Jaramillo is accused of a similar attack on March 10.
It is unclear whether he has an attorney.
