CLERMONT, Fla. — A group of Lake County Girl Scouts had their cookie money stolen Saturday night.
According to police, the girls were packing up after selling cookies in a shopping center on Citrus Tower Boulevard in Clermont.
Police said a man walked up, acting as if he was about to buy some cookies, but instead, he grabbed their cash box.
The man made off with about $280 of the Girl Scouts' money, police said.
