Thieves target Coalition for the Homeless construction site

ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando police are looking for the thieves they said stole thousands of dollars worth of construction equipment from the Coalition for the Homeless.

Police said someone broke into the construction site sometime Wednesday night where the new men's center is being built.

According to coalition officials, the thieves got away with more than $6,500 worth of electrical and construction equipment.

However, they said it won't delay the anticipated August opening date.

Anyone with information is asked to contact authorities.
