Police: Juveniles charged with armed carjacking in Sanford

SANFORD, Fla. - Three juveniles were caught and arrested after they carjacked a man on Bradshaw Drive in Sanford Friday night, according to police.

Officers responded to Bradshaw Drive around 11 p.m. after the victim was carjacked by the three suspects, authorities said.

According to police, the victim was sitting in his car when the juveniles approached and pointed a gun at him. The suspects forced the victim out of his car before stealing the vehicle.

Several hours later authorities found the stolen car with the suspects still inside. The three juveniles were taken into custody.

Police said the gun used in the carjacking was found and turned out to be a BB gun.

The juveniles, who weren't identified, were charged with robbery, carjacking, armed burglary and grand theft.
