Thursday's NFL Pro Bowl Experience focuses on 'inclusion'

ORLANDO, Fla. — The NFL Pro Bowl at the Camping World Stadium is three days away, and many fans have been enjoying activities at Walt Disney World’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

Thursday’s NFL Pro Bowl Experience will focus on inclusion.

The NFL along with the “You Can Play” project will host the LGBT youth from local organizations, such as the Zebra Coalition.

Students will attend a Pro Bowl practice and then sit down with NFL all-stars for a conversation on LGBT rights and inclusion in sports.

"So exciting. I'm very excited to be able to do this. I think that in the sports industry, it's so important that we send the message that it's an inclusive environment, particularly for young people who may be interested and talented in that area," Zebra youth counselor Heather Wilkie said.

The NFL was the first professional sports league to join the You Can Play project when it launched in 2013.
