Tree branch knocks out power to Winter Springs residents

WINTER SPRINGS, Fla. — A tree branch hit a power line and knocked out power to some Duke Energy customers in Winter Springs.

About 136 customers lost power at around 4:30 a.m. Friday.

The branch hit the power line near State Road 436 and Moss Road.

Crews were working to repair the line. Duke Energy said they expect power to be restored by 7:30 a.m.
