ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Florida Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a fatal crash at a toll plaza on State Road 417 early Thursday morning.
The crash happened on the northbound lanes of the Curry Ford mainline toll plaza near the Lee Vista Boulevard exit at about 3 a.m.
Troopers said 22-year-old Dylan Smith drove his 1998 Ford Mustang into the toll plaza's cement divider.
The car ended up in the middle of the northbound cash lane.
Troopers are still working to find out if alcohol played a role in the crash.
