ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A fatal motorcycle crash caused a busy intersection in west Orange County to shut down for several hours on Sunday.
Maurice Malcolm Jr, 26, was driving near Old Winter Garden Road and Dorscher Road in Orlando when he lost balance, hit a curb and a street sign, troopers said.
Malcolm was ejected about 600 feet from his bike and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The impact caused the bike to split in half. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
