ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orange County Sheriff's detectives have arrested two men in connection with a fatal shooting in June.

Investigators said Daveras Walker, 23, and Ricky Elise have been arrested in connection with the home invasion shooting death of Joseph Holness.

According to investigators, Holness, 21, and another man were playing video games in their Hope Circle home June 11, when three men burst in and began shooting.

One man suffered non-life-threatening injuries from gunshot wounds but was able to escape to another room of the house. Holness ran from the home but was later found dead on Murray Drive near Washington Street.

Jail records show Walker is charged with first-degree murder, attempted felony murder and attempted home invasion robbery. Information on charges against Elise has not been released.
