Two new COVID-19 satellite vaccination sites announced; starting March 11

ORLANDO, Fla — According to the Orange County Government’s vaccination website, two new FEMA satellite locations have popped up for the next two weeks.

Beginning March 11, FEMA will move the satellite site from Kelly Park to Barnett Park, 4801 West Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL 32808.

FEMA will administer vaccinations from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through March 13.

On March 14, the satellite site will move to South Econ Park, 3850 South Econlockhatchee Trail, Orlando, FL 32817

The sites are walk-up only, meaning that no appointments are offered.

FEMA offers various satellite sites to allow eligible persons to be vaccinated at no cost.

Those currently eligible include:

  • People aged 65 and older
  • Health care personnel with direct patient contact
  • Residents or staff members of long-term care facilities
  • People deemed “extremely vulnerable” by a physician
  • A sworn law enforcement officer of any age
  • A K-12 school personnel member of any age
