LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — Lake County deputies said one person was shot and another killed in what appears to be a suicide.
Deputies responded to the scene on County Road 561 in Clermont just before 10 p.m. Saturday.
“Two people did sustain gunshot wounds. One of them is deceased and the other subject was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries,” said Kristin Thompson with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies are still investigating the case.
