• UCF students could pay more in fees

ORLANDO, Fla. - University of Central Florida students may have to hand over more money for student fees.

A finance committee voted to recommend raising the student health fee to .59 per credit hour.

Officials said  the money would allow the university to hire more medical staff at the student clinic.

The committee was also in favor of a new $10 fee per semester to support an enhanced advising system that it said would shorten the time it takes students to graduate.
