Fruitland Park reserve officer, school volunteer accused of sexual misconduct

LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — Robert Frieszell is under investigation by the Lake County Sheriff's Office after allegations of inappropriate relations with two teen girls.

Frieszell was a reserve officer with the Fruitland Park Police Department and a volunteer with the band program at Umatilla High School.

He has been fired from both after accusations surfaced of sordid behavior with teen girls.

"He was having a sexual relationship with one girl. Was also carrying on a relationship and whatnot -- via text messages -- with another girl," said Sgt. Jim Vachon of Lake County Sheriff's Office.

WFTV obtained an incident report that said Frieszell asked a high school girl to text him nude pictures. The girl sent a picture of herself wearing very little clothing. The report said he even climbed in the window of one girl's bedroom.

"If he did in fact ask for and receive indecent photographs of a juvenile – it's child porn," Vachon said.

Friezsell was on the Fruitland Park police force for just one month. According to incident papers, Frieszell told investigators he wanted one girl to participate in a threesome, and even referred to himself as a sex freak.
