Volusia deputies locate missing 78-year-old Orange City man

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — Investigators located a missing 78-year-old Orange City man Wednesday night.

Volusia County sheriff's investigators said Everett Hutchings, who suffers from Alzheimer's disease, was working in his yard around 2:30 p.m.  Hutchings' wife went inside the house and when she returned to the yard, Hutchings and his truck were gone.

Hutchings' wife told investigators she searched the places that her husband frequents but could not find him.

Around 11:45 p.m. deputies said Hutchings was found in P0lk County. There was no word on his condition.
