Volusia girl arms self with bow, arrow after woman trespasses home

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — A 14-year-old girl armed herself with a bow and arrow when a woman trespassed into her Volusia County home Saturday.

At first, Watson rang the doorbell. The teen, who was asleep, went downstairs and unlocked the door, thinking it was her mom.

Then she turned around and went back to her room.

The girl said about a half an hour went by. It wasn't until she heard Watson talking and turning on lights that she realized it wasn't her mother.

"She's trying to apologize," the victim told the 911 dispatcher.

"Do you know her?" asked the dispatcher.

"No. She's confused," said the victim.

Marcia Watson, wearing a hair net, was arrested.

The girl hid in her bedroom until deputies arrived and arrested Watson.
