Warrant issued, reward offered for suspect in musician's death

POLK COUNTY, Fla. —

A reward is being offered for information that would help put the suspect in a local musician's killing behind bars.

The Polk County Sheriff's Office said there is a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Calvin Jones.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Jones, whose last known address was in Lake Wales, according to deputies.

Deputies said he is a suspect in the killing of Damien Rahim, a reggae musician in Orlando who went by the stage name “Khamelien."

Rahim, 37, was found dead in his car at a Days Inn motel on Frontage Road in Davenport Saturday night.

According to the Sheriff's Office, Jones is wanted for felony murder and armed robbery.

Jones is considered armed and dangerous, the Sheriff's Office said.

Sheriff's officials are asking anyone with information about Jones to contact them.
